mind that by using that bar, you'll be playing rock paper scissors most of the time.
but it can still be fairly fun against cond/hex overloads without stance removal.

Guess I should have clarified: the above post was aimed at jrmunch's bar, not Karla's.
And I read all of your posts, Karla. You are frequently the most entertaining person still here. I just felt like commentary on the original bar rather than something you know works (ish) was more useful, particularly in a form that allows freedom of modification by imparting a little bit of "why".
For example, we both know that if you're not on 2-3 extra pips from Resilience, your bar is based largely on getting high returns out of Devotion and Divine Spirit, but this isn't necessarily obvious to someone who isn't as familiar with running a 4-man monk. Said person might be inclined to drop Devotion for something with more "oomph" and just be completely non-competitive in your weaker, but still winnable, matchups while not really shoring up any weaknesses.
Or maybe I'm delusional and no one actually reads beyond the first three lines of my posts. Still offers me something to do, I guess.

I promise I will try devotion, really I will! Thanks for the tip! I was thinking of dropping soa and sh for devotion and divine healing after reading your post and urania's bar.

How well would a necro using toxic chill be in RA?
I was thinking
barbed signet (use before TC)
Toxic Chill (main pressure/damage skill)
vile miasma (right after TC )
Life siphon ( easy to spam then use TC next)
optional ? /A with return/DC/ or maybe something else?
foul feast (remove cons on monk mostly but also other if its not too bad)
Androgons gaze (some life gain back and e with FF to help the monk)
res sig
point wise im think 12+1+1 for Death , for SR 9+1 ? and then rest into blood?
Thoughts? I'm in college atm so i cant really play with stats and stuff :S

Only if you have no Apply Poison ranger on your team will the poison reap any benefit. Also, I'd rather bring Faintheartedness and maybe Rigor Mortis for anti-blocking pressure to try and counter those Bonetti monks and LR+NS rangers. Life Siphon is also a good additional degen pressure.

still at college (3 hour wait inbetween labs.. urgh) , so i was thinking if I bring Faint and rigor , what should I drop? I was thinking Vile miasma?
i'd also prolly use +1 curse and +1 blood runes, in addition to the sup vig and +! death, and just put in a restoration rune over vitae?
thoughts? also my set will be a 40/40 and 30/-2 set , then two defensive sets.
what should the mods be on the spear? armor or +30 hp? Also i guess the mod should be 33%+ poison?
edit : wow.. i guess this forum is dead..? I wonder if there's any active pvp forums to discuss stuff?

Hey y'all - this bar has been treating me very well for the last while or so. It has a ton of utility, a little damage, a good amount of pressure, and it's hyperactive. Plus, it's flexible if you want to screw around!
14 Blood
13 SR
3 Motiv
(atts are really reworkable for whatever elite you choose)
Barbed Signet
Oppressive Gaze
Life Siphon
Blood of the Aggressor
Angorodon's Gaze
Strip Enchantment
"It's Just a Flesh Wound." {E}
Rez Sig
So yeah, use first three skills to pressure/cond spread/weaken warriors, BotA to weaken more and do some damage, AG for e-management, Strip to strip, IJaFW to keep your team squeaky clean of conditions. Even with a 40/40 SR set, FF wasn't doing it for me, so this experiment with IJaFW proved a satisfying alternative.
Plus, you can mess with this bar like crazy. You can run utility elites from IJaFW to Expel to Empathic to Melandru's Resilience with FF to "Victory is Mine!". Atts are extremely flexible, as are the core blood skills in the build. You can bring dark pact for more damage (watch for Frenzied warriors, that one's hilarious) and Masochism with it if you like. I love the blood bar as it stands now, and though a ton of people are using them, I don't think it's lost its pop any.

Cool build , i'll give it a try. Though if I dont like how "It's Just a Flesh Wound." {E} is working out, i was thinking of subbing in maybe life transfer and foul feast, and taking out LS as well.
EDIT
im trying out a bb war build for fun, im having trouble switching to my daggers fast enough from my hammer. Is there some trick im missing? Should I hit my swap button as soon as I hit bb or what?

Press Escape first, then switch (you'll need to practise this). Escape is used to cancel skills and it helps you switch quicker.

I click my hammer attack and just afterwards I use the arrow keys to move ever so slightly (mouse clicking to move also works) which cancels any queued action and removes the weapon switching aftercast. I find this easier to do than pressing esc but it's just preference

Been running this for awhile now and have really enjoyed it. Lots of e-management, decent degen, and a little rupting power. Plus, it has the ability to really piss off anything that attacks, especially auto attacking monks chargning bonnettis. FN is just there for bein there I guess. You can swap it out with whatever defensive skill you like.

OK with the Derv Update i'm using my Derv more. Right when it came out I saw potential with Grenths aura and Avatar of Grenth (later i saw a build in pvx lol , seems everyone saw it too )
Basically I want some help "optimizing" it for when it comes to what pvp i'm in.
Right now for RA :
(1)Banishing Strike
(2)Aura Slicer
(3)Twin Moon Sweep
(4)Attacker's Insight
(5)Avatar of Grenth
(6)Heart of Fury
(7)Grenth's Aura
(7)Res Sig
Depending on the situation, i'd interchange (1) with Banish or Crippling Sweep, and (4) with AS or guiding hands (anti blind/block) or harrier's haste
and for CMs, i just put in Pious restoration in place of Res sig.
stats
Scythe Master : 10+1+1
Wind Prayers : 10+1 (for 12 life steal from avy and 20 from aura)
Mysticism : 11+1
How is it? I know general anti melee still applies for me ( like Blind and Empathy mostly), though I dont like giving up (4) spot for pious and only have aura's for enchant fuel.

It's still a melee thus requires a healer in your team if you don't wanna lose to bsurger or blood necro you face every 2 fights( even more right if you got more melee in team , which is the case today since dervish update..)
